Welp!! I will be heading down to my local DMV in the morning to take my clp test. I've been studying on TT's CDL practice test for awhile now but still nervous about the test. I really don't want to fail. Just SUPER NERVOUS. Quick question how hard is the test really? I'm in the state of Tennessee by the way. How many answers can I get wrong on the general knowledge, The Combinations, and air brakes all together? And also are there anyone else preparing themselves for the test soon?

This will be a great tread to keep each others updated on how we did on the test. With me luck y'all & goodluck to those who are soon to take it as well. thank-you.gifgood-luck.gif

It is very common to be nervous. This is the first big step of your journey. If you have mastered the high road program you will be fine. Iโ€™m not sure of TN testing procedures, in GA each test is seperate and you can miss 5 if I remember correctly. It has been along time since I took the written.

Read each question slowly and completly. Do not rush. Pay strict attention to how it is worded. Attention to detail is very important.

Best wishes tomorrow.

One question at a time. Read the questions all the way through too! You'll do great.

Good Luck!! I will be taking mine soon. Been studying since October, I think I could recite most of the PA manual from memory at this point. I know here in PA you must score at least an 80% on each section to pass. The amount of questions in a section will determine how many you can get wrong. EX... 50 questions, 10 wrong, 25 questions, 5 wrong, ETC...

Thank PJ,Spaceman & Delco for your encouragements. I will be leaving to test in 10mins. I'm super duper nervous. But I have confidence that I will pass. If not,I know it's not the end of the world & I'll just have to retest some other time. Also lots of luck to you Delco, you most definitely got this๐Ÿ˜Š. Will update as soon as I get home from testing๐Ÿ˜ƒ.

Quick update: Arrived at the DMV around 8:30am. It's now 10:30am. The DMV is taking precautions because of the pandemic. So everyone is standing in a line outside. Hopefully I make it up to the inside before 3:00pm cause that's when they stop testing for clp. Tired, hot, and need a long cold shower! rofl-3.gif
