Name one trucking thing you found more difficult than you thought it would be, and something that was easier than you expected.

Harder: Time Management Easier: Shifting a manual

Harder: learning to split shift a Mack Tri-plex tranny

Easier: handling a set of doubles trailers

Doubles:

Refers to pulling two trailers at the same time, otherwise known as "pups" or "pup trailers" because they're only about 28 feet long. However there are some states that allow doubles that are each 48 feet in length.

Harder: Dealing with the anxiety of when I will be off a dock heading to next load. Easier: Making turns safely.
