Penguin I agree with you. But we did work without getting paid.... No insurance or workman's comp. So if you got hurt it would be a problem.

However Marc Lee paid for CDL school then got injured 2 weeks into his first job at JB Hunt. Although paid workman's comp, he was terminated for other paperwork issues. He has had issues ever since, unfortunately.

So regardless of how you start there are issues and problems we deal with. There was no way I could have afforded school and I appreciate being able to change my life and have money in the bank and a fabulous credit rating.

Even if I receive $100 in a lawsuit, big deal. My favorite jacuzzi suite is $250 per night.... And I have no problem affording a week at a time when I want it. That is due to my hard work and determination as well as the fabulous opportunity Prime gave me.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
