How's it going for ya, Jammer?? Looking 'interesting' out thataway. Had some snow/slop here in Ohio, winds ARE picking up, jsyk.....so YOU be safe, as well!!

ps: Grown and G Town .. are ADJUNCT ~!! (ALSO ambiguous, hahahaha!) << I'm staying out of THAT thread... LoL!

I was pretty proud of myself for the 'pink shirt at the receiver' part, haha! Old School took it like a champ; at least HE got it, LmAo!

(Nope, I'm no astronaut, nor a cow... I am afraid of heights, and am working on a low carb diet.. jsyk!! (138# and .. pedaling!))

Back to the originally scheduled programming, good sir . . . UPDATES?!?!?!

Hey, Jammer. I just finished a load from Yuma to Pittston, PA. Had one last week from Yuma to Chesterfield, NH too. Not sure what route your company will take you. We went East to Phoenix then North to Flagstaff then East on 40. No snow in Flagstaff or Western NM luckily. It does get breezy in the TX panhandle and OK. All the wind turbines around Amarillo are evidence of that. From what I've seen, no other area in the country has so many of them grouped together. Pretty cool site at night when their red lights blink in unison. If you smoke, stock up in MO. Very cheap there! Enjoy your trip, and stay safe!

APU:

Auxiliary Power Unit

On tractor trailers, and APU is a small diesel engine that powers a heat and air conditioning unit while charging the truck's main batteries at the same time. This allows the driver to remain comfortable in the cab and have access to electric power without running the main truck engine.

Having an APU helps save money in fuel costs and saves wear and tear on the main engine, though they tend to be expensive to install and maintain. Therefore only a very small percentage of the trucks on the road today come equipped with an APU.

That'd a pretty nice straight run across the Country. You will love the rolling hills of PA on 70/76E.
