Some CDL schools will do a quickie course and then you have to re-test with the manual.
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
I agree with Kearsey. Contact a truck driving school and ask them what they can do to help you. Talk to several and see who sounds the most practical and reasonable. It shouldn't be hard to do.
Talk with your current company about possibly getting with a trainer for a few hours, too.
I would look in to local schools with refresher courses, I know the school i attended does them for $1,600

woah, hopefully it would be cheaper than that just to get the automatic restriction off my license. That's a little steep, but thanks everyone, ill look into it.
Depending on the state you will probably have to redo the entire test. At least that's the way it is here in Illinois.

Goodmorning everyone! So when I trained with Prime, I learned to just drive a automatic. Eventually I really would like to learn how to drive a manual. What would be the best way to go about this?
Dm:
Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
