Dash cam in your truck?
Nice job avoiding an accident. Unfortunately, as I'm sure we all know, between confused people and people who have to get there before you, it makes sense to be especially careful going through tolls.
Dash cam in your truck?
Just the company one, I am going to invest in my own I think.
Great job avoiding disaster Bobcat. Hopefully your load hadnt shifted too much in the process. How does ODFL handle camera events?
I had a note in my locker today for a hard brake last week due to actions of a car as well but ill be putting that into a different thread in a few hours.
I've heard it's reviewed by someone and if they deem it important enough they send it to your local safety manager.
Our old computer system used to tell us when the camera was tripped, this one does not but I am sure this would have tripped it.

On 80 East coming into the Ipass booth with the merge onto 294 when a car in the left lane decides he wants to go to the cash lanes I assume ( which the toll way has signs up all over the place saying they don't take cash anymore) decides to make a lane change in front of me and come to a near stop in a desperate attempt to get into the cash lane.
So I had to apply the most brakes I ever did in a truck that I can recall to avoid slaming I to this genius. Unfortunately, there was another car to my left so I couldn't move that way and since the offender was heading to the right I figured straight was my best option luckily I was able to lock it down and come to nearly a complete stop tires smoking and all.
The genius driver then decided that he could pay online instead and speed off cuting off the innocent car that had been along side me in the process. Luckily I did not hit the car and somehow kept the set straight and headed the right direction.
