I was at orientation with USX on Monday. I was told I was going to be a " dedicated tour driver". When I signed up, I asked for OTR. I asked what it meant to be a dedicated tour driver and was not able to get a clear answer. That bothered me because it may mean something I wasn't looking for. Does anybody here know what it means?

OTR:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

Personally, I would be at a Full Stop Mode until that was answered clearly, completely, and honestly by USX management. It could be a game changer if it's not what you're willing to do there.

When I was with USX, the Walmart tour positions were highly-sought. Hopefully that is what they are talking about. It is OTR. You just go exclusively to Walmart DC's. It used to be you needed to get on a waiting list for that job. Maybe things have changed(?) Definitely want to make sure they aren't trying to stick you on a Dollar account👎

Not with USX, but I second that on running for WM on a dedicated position.
