be able to concealed carry
How is it related to the company? Jersey cops don't care what this or that carrier allows :-)
Personally for me, nope!!! My Dr and I make the decisions on my health, not the gov’t. I suspect the mandate Biden wants will never happen. Will never stand in the Supreme Court. He is trying to strong arm companies to do it and some have fallen in line. The Sheriff of LA County went public today he will NOT enforce a mandate on his employee’s regardless if it comes from state or feds’s. Guess he figures if the gov’t can choose what laws to follow he can also.
My company has already said they are against a mandate. Won’t effect me being a contractor and I’m well under the 100 number. I’m waiting to see if customers start mandating it?? We’ll see.
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
Good answer. I'll be looking for a gig at a small company where I can carry also. We should have never have given way on that liberty just as we shouldn't give way on mandated medical treatment. Enough is enough, the line must be drawn.
No. Knight has shown that they don't seem on board with it, the logistics of trying to test drivers and or jab them would be insane anyway. But if the nonsense mandate makes through court intact, and they tried to enforce it, I'll switch to lease op or switch companies. The only reason I'd consider lease op is that I really like working at knight and I'd still get to keep working with the staff I do currently, yet be able to concealed carry and not have to get jabbed or tested.
Just wondering if this mandate on companies with over 100 employees is going to put truckers in a position to get vaccinated or lose their jobs ?????
If so are you going to take the “jab!” ?
There is NO way I will ever accept one of those "vaccines." The fact that they are pushing so hard to have the entire globe accept an injection for a virus with a 99.9% survival rate is extremely suspicious, IMO. I've heard too many bad things about them to put something like that into my body. Just look at what is happening down in Australia and we can see what we can expect here if we don't take a stand and say "NO."

I dont haul in Jersey, nor NY, nor do I ever plan to until NY some how ceases being a communist haven. (I dont like CA for the same reason) But it has nothing to do with which states I can concealed carry in legally. My companies policy is for no firearms on board. If I violate that policy, I risk termination and a black mark on my employment record. Im well versed in which states have reciprocity with my CCW permit issuing state, which I can open carry and car carry in. Those that dont allow it, I would stow the weapon and ammo as outlined in their requirements. If I leave Knight, their weapons policy would play a significant part in the decision. Thus I was stating that while Knight has given hints that they will work around the unconstitutional and immoral mandate, they clearly have shown they will toe the woke liberal mindset on issues as well.
Israel is one of the highest vaccinated countries in the world if not the absolute highest ! Their hospitals are packed with ppl who have been vaccinated ! FYI “the jab” isn’t a vaccination it’s being administered under that emergency clause/ still experimental and if anyone has taken ” the jab “ the you are part of their experiment ! I realize it’s a personal decision, I wish you all the luck for you family & friends GOD BLESS . ..
I’ve already been vaccinated against COVID-19, not for my personal health but for those in my life with weakened immune system or compromised immune system which are quite a few people. It’s better for me to play it safe then be sorry for these loved one.

Good luck to you and your retirement I hope it all works out just the way you want it too. ..
Have been against all this covid BS since it began. Didn't wear a mask, unless forced to at recievers, or shippers. Pretty healthy, haven't had so much as a common cold, since 9/2014. After 2 years across the US, in all different kinds of weather, never had a single sniffle. I'm not a germ-a-phobe, worrying about the slightest chance to catch "something". Pffft we survived every other virus that's came out over the past 30+ years or more!
But am on the fence now watching, and waiting, because I have planned for years, to retire in the Philippines, and live a healthier life style, eating FRESH unprocessed foods etc. And, the nicer climate 70-95 temps. And be with my fiance, who's been waiting for me, over the last 2 years.
So, IF they stick with requiring the jab, to enter, then, and ONLY then, will I consider getting it. Hard choice, since I have pretty much been the type to not follow the herd, I dare to be different. Hopefully, over the next couple few months, it wont be an issue to be vaxxed for entry, with a negative swab test only.
The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.
My companies policy is for no firearms on board.
AFAIK, all big and medium carriers have no firearms policies. At the same time I have never heard or read about any enforcement of these policies and drivers being searched or even fired. But I tried to say that companies are only minor parts of this big anti-gun equasion. Any business has the right to ban firearms on its premises, and I see a lot of such signs at big DCs and small warehouses. Then, of course, there are officers who may want to enforce state and city laws. In my understanding, companies are the smallest threat. Let's hope that a federal reciprocity bill will pass one day, it will solve all the problems.
