I had to move my gear into the second new truck I've been issued at Knight. It looks exactly like the then brand new 2019 Volvo they issued me last time. My old truck needed to go to the dealer for some warranty work on a bad injector.

I was in Dallas, TX but the dealer couldn't give Knight an estimate on when it would be ready. So... they put me in a rent car, sent me to Gulfport, MS where they had this 2022 model sitting and waiting on me. That was Friday. Today (Sunday) I've got all my gear in it and I'm parked in Altamont, IL. I've got a multi-stop load that starts unloading first thing tomorrow right around the corner from this truck stop.

I tried to send a photo, but for whatever reason, I can't get it to load.

Oh, here's something great about this truck. It doesn't have that forward crash mitigation system on it. The chips or parts aren't available right now. That's crazy! But I'm enjoying it.

Yeah that radar system can be annoying at the wrong times ! I installed an aluminum plate covering it my last 3 weeks driving. Removed it, before I turned the truck back in lol.....Was a lot better without it slowing me down for the wrong reasons, etc. Only caveat was clearing the 3 warning lights on the dash, every start up, no biggee....I left to 2 side lane departure things active lol those sucked too, picking up wet looking tar streaks over cracks, or shadows. Usually went off for no reason, as I maintained my lanes all the time right down the center

Hello, Old School. Moving from one truck to another is a lot of work. But if you get a great new truck it minimizes the pain, lol. I’m in Oak Creek, WI tonight heading out in the morning for Willimgton, Illinois

Are you anywhere near me?
