Hey, AT LEAST I didn't call you a "Steering Wheel Holder!" rofl-3.gif

The enclosed photos, and this thread (did it myself!) has some great info that may help the O/P.

Steering Wheels/Covers

You never know; this engineering student just may become a trucker someday, and will come back to us; due to appreciation of our contributory kindness...remembering us with a smile !

Best wishes on your project, David H. !

I am a steering wheel holder. I don't drive hands-free, and I don't drive with my feet as some of the Volvo Mafia are found of.

That's exactly what I was thinking. A Volvo steering wheel should have a couple of foot friendly depressions in the 10 and 3 positions. rofl-2.gif

And how could I forget? An integrated I Pad and cellphone holder. I've seen numerous Mafia viewing movies while traveling in the left lane.

I mean you are hanging out in Chicago and running loads that are heavy.

May as well order the the flip flops now.

I'll find a tree and a rope for myself before that becomes commonplace.

Our dopey planners seem to concentrate me on one area at a time. Five loads this week around Chicago; two weeks ago was six loads around Atlanta. I switched dispatchers starting today to see if things change after eight months.

Dispatcher:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
