That brings back a lot of memories right there. I was “made in the 80’s” myself and loved the transformers as a kid. LEGO just actually came out with an Optimus Prime set that actually transforms. It’s in my to build pile but will probably be one of the next ones I build. Thanks for sharing!

Remember how the movie traumatized some so bad that their parents complained to Hasbro? That was what got Optimus revived in the 3rd generation cartoon lol…..first world problems sheesh lol

Reminds me of my favorite toy growing up. It was a Ralstoy Mayflower tractor trailer model. My family moved in 1978 to the Philly area during my birthday. The Mayflower driver gave the model to me as gift.

All a man needs is his truck and a good dog lol. 🐕. You can tell where the inspiration for Optimus Prime came from

I used to have just a slew of those Transformers when I was a kid growing up in the 80's... My brother did Star Wars, I did TF. I can remember leaving them behind when I moved out of my family's house as my family broke up and I got my first apartment. My brother kept the house and cleared everything out when he wanted to move a bunch of roommates in. I'll forever kick myself when he asked me what to do with all them and I nonchalantly told him to get rid of them, the one time he listened to me. Some of the ones I had are collectors items now. Never had Prime, but a mint G1 Prime with accessories can go for a several hundred bucks at auction.

Very cool truck!!! I remember the old shows, since I was older. Watched BJ every week…

I wish they built trucks these days to last like they did back then!!
