So currently I just made it back down to a UPS terminal in NC and I got this phone call from my fleet manager goes like this.

" We are going to be getting a few used sleeper trucks and I know you got a newer freightliner but one the trucks we are getting is a 2021 mack anthem 170,000 miles good condition and you in the previous months have requested when available to you a new Mack truck. Would you be interested in it"

My response: " Yes please thank you"

So it's coming in I believe sometime late next week or the week after they told me they will give me a load to the terminal that has it when it arrives and I will get to move my stuff in and when I am done the Freightliner gets reconditioned and given to someone else.

Believe it or not I actually liked the Freightliner. It was more fuel efficient and the forward collision warning didn't cause emergency braking to be applied. The mack however better ride quality better engine MP8 and just overall a way better truck. Would you guys lile photos when I get it?

Also apparently we got some internationals as well.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Fleet Manager:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
