Good evening folks 😊 I honestly don't even know where to start. I know at this point I'm like a blast from the past so to speak. It's been about 7.5 years since I logged in. When I started trucking a little over 10 years ago this place was so very helpful. I met a ton of really great people in here and I actually got to met them in real life too! Over the years I have had a few people mention RedGator to me and it always surprises me that my words are still around lol For a girl that was told she wasn't going to last 3 months out here the fact that I'm still at it probably blows folks minds🤭 I'm still with my 2nd company America's Service Line out of Green Bay, WI. That's right folks 10+ yrs and 2 companies later I'm still here. I just wanted to pop in an see how everyone is doing? Is there anyone still here that remembers little ol' me?

Hell yeah, of course I remember you! It's great to see you again!

It's awesome to hear you've been with one company for so long. You must love it there, eh?

Where do you run? How often do you get home? Do you train other drivers, or have you tried it?

I wasn't sure anyone would after all this time! It's like yelling into a dark tunnel and getting surprised when someone yells back🤭

When I was with WEL I trained 8 women. 4 became trainers themselves to help mold and shape this new generation. When I was let go from there I joined America's Service Line. They are not a training company and require a minimum of 1 yr experience so I haven't officially trained in 7.5 years. I have mentored several members via telephone over the years. Several if them I met right here in TT. I mainly run the Midwest to the East Coast. I don't typically run north of 287 or anything NE. It's just not my thing. This is a pretty decent outfit with consistent income. There minimum is $1,400/week so if you are able and available to work the minimum would garnish you a pretty decent take home. Since I consistently make more than that I can't complain. As with anywhere and any company there is good and bad. There have been a lot of changes in recent years and well you know how us old folks are about changes 🤣 I took a 9 month break last year from trucking because I was just getting burned out. I've been back since August (I went back to ASL). I'm currently contemplating hanging up my keys permanently. I actually got reminded of TT yesterday when I saw a referral bonus on my check but I didn't remember talking to anyone. Turns out they saw me here. I was very surprised to see everyone still around! I've referred many new drivers here over the years but hadn't officially popped in. It was wild reading up on my younger self. I was so full of positivity and life back then lol Now I feel like an "old salty dog" but since Ernie already has that name taken I guess I'll stick to Red. I left Allentown and moved back to Louisiana in 2017 but currently reside in NC. I feel like so much has changes since I have been gone but some things are still the same. Are you still in NY? I never got to catch up with you or Old School which was like my mission in life in the beginning 🤭

Hey Red! It's really cool seeing you in here!

I guess I tend to assume people got out of trucking when they dissappear like you did. It's silly, I know.

I'm still out here doing the flatbed thing. I've been with Knight Transportation on a dedicated flatbed account for about 8 or 9 years now. My wife wants me to retire, but I'm having too much fun!

I'm thrilled to see you are still out here.

Hey OS! One of my favorite people of all times. I can't believe I was never able to stalk my way into a meet and greet. I guess life just kind of got in the way for me and I kind of forgot all about coming back here. I guess after some time I didn't think I had anything positive to contribute. This industry does that to us. There's no one more surprised that me that I'm still out here🤭 I honestly thought 5 years tops and I would be done. I'm currently sitting in St. Paul, MN in the dock I slept in last night. While I haven't gotten my nails done in since COVID, I still get my toes done and rock the pink steering wheel cover🤭 I'll definitely try to stick around even if I hang up my keys. Reading throughout my old posts reminded me of how far I have come but also how far I have strayed from that Hopeful young woman that steeped into trucking all those years ago......Maybe y'all can help me get her back😉 I have many old TT members on my Facebook page and have pretty much managed to meet up with every last one of them over the years. I have long since forgotten their screen names but our foundation is solid. It all started here😊 Glad to see you're still around whiping these young folks into shape😉

I remember reading so much from you while I was kickin the tires to see if this industry would be a good match for me. Glad to hear things are working out for you.

What Rob says is the same with me. Glad you have resurrected yourself on TT because experienced drivers are my driving lifeblood and the more, the merrier.

This is of particular interest to me because I recently met Karl from ASL. He used to drive for the company I’m with, Helwig. I think his mission in life is to recruit more Helwig drivers to ASL, lol. He told me that ASL has about 13 former Helwig drivers.

Where are your common destinations on the East Coast? Where do you pick up your product from? Are you paid hub miles and paid holidays? Do you drive a KW?
