Hello all, I haven’t posted for a while but wanted to check if any one had any thoughts about driving for EW Wylie or Halvor? I’ve been an Owner/Operator for just about two years, and I’m looking to switch back to company driving. Thanks

I haven’t worked for either one but I almost worked for EW Wylie and I know at least one person that used to drive for them and had a great experience. I liked their pay and equipment and variety of freight they haul/specific divisions you can get on with depending on where you reside.

Don’t know anything about Halvor

One of my girlfriends drives for Wylie, and has been happy with their responsiveness to equipment issues, their dispatch, and their flexibility. She is, unfortunately leaving to go back home to Europe for personal reasons, but she has been happy with them for the most part.

EW Wylie is flatbed and offers oversized heavy hauling.

Halvor has flatbed, dry van , and refrigerated divisions. Halvor has opportunities to enter Canada.

Dry Van:

A trailer or truck that that requires no special attention, such as refrigeration, that hauls regular palletted, boxed, or floor-loaded freight. The most common type of trailer in trucking.
