I hope someone will share his wisdom and teach me how to turn off a little red light that is right above the "table."

Show a Pic of it. I hate having lights on when I'm trying to sleep so I relate. I took a Sharpe to the controls because the blue lights on the dials were too bright, taped over the buttons with red tape. In the sleeper berth I put tape over the controls and cover the inverter and heater/ac box

Sleeper Berth:

The portion of the tractor behind the seats which acts as the "living space" for the driver. It generally contains a bed (or bunk beds), cabinets, lights, temperature control knobs, and 12 volt plugs for power.

If it's what I'm thinking of, it's kind of like a dome light and it turns on when the headlights are turned on. It's supposed to be an aid to help see inside the cab when it's dark without the blinding feature that comes from traditional dome lights. As far as I know, it can't be turned off.

I've had a few different T-680's, and one of them had that darn red light that I could never figure out how to turn off. Annoying as heck. I resorted to covering it with tape at night.

This is the light I am talking about. And I was lucky to figure it out - it is controlled by a switch near the the bunk, where the heater/cooler, alarm and a few other things are located.

Here is this switch. When it is illuminated with green, the red light is on.

Thank God above you showed us because if I get T680 and it has that light I want to know how to turn that thing off lol. It would keep me up for at least an hour while trying to sleep. Thanks for the pictures!
