It was a cheap freightliner bumper with that stupid skirt that almost touched the ground. It actually tore off all in one piece however the connecting supports broke. I guess I could have took it myself to a shop since there was no property damage but did the right thing and called company and claims.

I made the dumb decision to jump a curb and a boulder tore it off. It seems fitting for me that my only incident occurred here and not the hundreds of blind sides and street backs in 3 years on the Dollar General Account. I will apply with Walmart again in a year.

Rightly so and the funny thing is Schneider actually saved money. Lost my $1500 end of year bonus and .5 cent safety bonus for 9 months. lol.

I have a question. Is tearing off your bumper on a rock at a store. No property damage. Would that be considered an "accident" for WALMART?

If you're talking about tearing the bumper off your commercial vehicle, then yes that is absolutely a preventable accident, and must be reported on an application. Anything over $2000 is considered an accident. The property damage to the bumper is sure to be over that.

Walmart cares very much about such accidents since those are the most common behind Walmart stores.

Hey, accidents happen and we learn from them. Those kinds of tight scenarios are very common behind Walmart stores, necessitating the need for tight safety policies such as a required GOAL and 360° walk around before any back. People often criticize Walmart for these policies, but we remain one of the safest fleets in the nation because of them.

I could have took it myself to a shop since there was no property damage but did the right thing and called company and claims.

Walmart will forgive a lot of things, including this accident. But failure to report any accident or incident, however minor, will result in immediate termination, no questions asked. They treat it as an integrity issue. Always do the right thing, even when no one is watching.

Even though I’ll probably never make it to Walmart, these videos are still interesting. Don’t have to work for Walmart to learn for a thing or two from these videos. I’d also be interested in hearing your views on things that go on out here or things you see that bother you. Unless you’re keeping it strictly Walmart material.

I’ll be subscribed either way.

Thanks B1. I have many more Walmart topics planned. Finding the time to do them is the hard part. Eventually however I will run out of material so yeah you'll start seeing me babble on about random things 😁

I too subscribed. You have a good calm presence, it's nice to see a straight video without all the BS.

Ha! With such a small target audience, I have no delusional dreams of the channel exploding or anything like that.

Thanks for sharing your perspective and the work you're doing! It's great that you're providing valuable information straight from someone with hands-on experience. The honesty and straightforwardness of your videos are what people appreciate most. The referral bonuses make sense given your target audience there. Keep up the good work—those who are genuinely interested will appreciate the unpolished, real approach. And don't worry, there's always room for multiple platforms to offer help and share insights!
