I've never seen slinkies shotgun style before. Just racks on the front and rear ones still?

No you run dunnage and racks the whole length. Then you use a board they supply to put first and last coil on. It breaks but lifts it enough to block. You then use dunnage through the front and rear coil as well.

Oof... Allied Tube in Harvey. Been there many times myself. How long did it take em to get you out of there? 4-8 hours? And does the lady behind the window still treat you like she can't be bothered by these stupid truck drivers?

While you got the lady behind the window described to a T, this was Allied tube in Chino CA, a pleasant branch. Also loaded at Allied in Phoenix recently, also pleasant and helpful. Allied in Harvey should change to Axis Tube.

I'd be wary of those tiny edge protectors. Most I've seen are full length styles, metal or plastic.
