So I got bored and decided to spend the day in town while on home time. Well town bores me also so I decided to test drive a few vehicles to kill some time. Never had a midsize SUV before. Drives like a dream. I walked in and after the test drive I asked what was the sticker price. He told me it was $12,000. I turned and walked out the door.......straight to my bank and had to see the manger since it was such a large amount of money. Walked back in 30 minutes later and I guess he thought I had changed my mind and wanted to do the financing through them. His mouth about hit the floor when I laid the money on his desk and he had to call the manager in. I told him that he said it was $12,000 and that is what I brought back. All the other service charges and fee the dealer was going to pay or I walk to another dealership and by a truck from them. The dealership agreed to eat the $2500 in extra fees.

Have I said lately how much I love trucking? Lets me live my life the way I want and do what I want without having to sit back and count pennies to make ends meet.smile.gif1411893402.5086.jpg

Very nice, Guy. I plan to do the same - save it up, and slap it down.

This is good, now when you get married you'll already have a car that can fit the kids.

Already have one kid. He rides with me already. He has 4 legs and a tail that wags and a cold nose and he is always glad to see me.
