The only thing I would hope is that they would consider giving some if not all of the deposit once it is determined the pet caused no damage.

It's possible, but don't count on it. They're going to say the money goes toward cleaning the truck in all likelihood.

I don't know if this is bad protocol on this forum or not...if it is let me know and i will start a new post.

For the owner/operators:

If you are leased onto a company do you have follow their company driver pet policies? Does it make a difference if you are on your own authority or theirs?

As someone considering a career; your question is at the least premature. Step 30… and honestly moot; we DO NOT recommend lease operation or owner operation without the benefit of at least, bare minimum 1 solid year of solo experience.

The answer is yes!!!

When someone leases onto a company they will have a contract. First rule is your running under their authority you MUST follow their rules.

I agree with G. I don’t see anything stating what your experience is at this time. Stay away from leasing a truck, espically if it’s just to go around a policy. Bad idea…..

Don't bring a pony and DON'T LEASE.
