Anyone else use trucker path to find and report on available parking? I find it a usefull tool, and more users would make it even better.

Love that app! The reviews can be quite entertaining as well.

I like it. I'll look for "non-chain" truck stops, then check the reviews. The trip planning feature is very useful.

As for available parking, that's spotty since there's not enough people using the app.

Yeah I've seen several "plenty of parking 3 days ago" lol

The history feature is usefull as you can see when and how often the truck stop was full, empty, etc. If you study this info, you can make some guesses on availability.A quick listing of total spaces available, is usefull also.

Had it downloaded but never really used it. I just launched it and entered my trip to Warners NY that I'm about to leave on. Wow. Every truck stop from here to Chi Chi Jima. Found the one I want to end up at at the end of my 11. Nice for trip planning.

I find it very useful for finding distances to places. For example, when I stop to do a load check I'll scan ahead and click on truck stops and rest areas along my route. When you click each one, it shows you how many miles it is from your current location. Then I'll find the furthest one within 150 miles, and now I know where I'm doing my next load check (at the latest).

Also a great app for locating (and checking the status of) weigh stations!

Look closely, Andy. You also see rest stops and weigh stations!

Yep Errol V. I just launched it to plan a trip to Ga. And there they were Pesky weigh stations. Even tells the status. And rest stops. Great app to have
