If you're ever headed 70 west out of Indiana, feel free to stop just across the border in Casey Illinois to check out the world's largest golf tee. At 30.5' tall, it's pretty impressive. Rumor has it, president Obama tried to play a hole using it but they politely refused his efforts.

WXman, "world's largest ... " does not a museum make - it would have room for only one item.

Now if you saw a fry pan museum or a museum of string, ya got something.

Okok, let me find some more weird museums.

Oh wait, Indianapolis medical history museum. It's in the old Central State mental hospital, very cool place and has been visited by several ghost hunting groups.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

I am surprised that Raye's Mustard Mill Museum didn't make the list... I mean, it's not like it's out of the way in Eastport, Maine or anything.

Thanks for the pic. I've passed the sign for this a bunch of times. I laugh every time.

I really appreciate your posts. It must've been a blast to sit in your classes.

I just had to bump this topic. A museum for tomatoes?

Off I-55 south of Jackson, MS:

I enlarged the "Tomato" part of the sign so you could see it on your smartphone.

You can visit the Audie Murphy American Cotton Museum in Greenville, TX or the Southwest Dairy Museum in Sulphur Springs, TX both off of I-30 about 20 miles apart.smile.gif
