Another perk is that it is so easy to meet other prime drivers willing to help you. 24/7 I have people I could call.

It's funny, I was just thinking about a similar perk that I forgot to post earlier. The longer you stay with a company, the more likely you are to get to know other drivers in your company or even your specific division. Last night I walked into the Lancaster terminal and had a good chat with another driver I'd met a few weeks ago. We'd exchanged numbers back then but never texted so it was good to see him again. I've also run into other drivers I've met out here--one of them was the one who helped get me on the Miller Coors fleet.

I enjoy being alone most of the time, but that doesn't mean I don't really like meeting and getting to know other drivers. It's a really nice feeling when you walk into a terminal and recognize a few people. Makes it feel more like home.

I can't wait til I can walk into a TS and meet you all hahahha

Seriously. Am I the only one who stalks people on the app? I need to update my picture so people can recognize me haha

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

8m so offended now hahhah

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Out of curiosity, can you see where I am right now? It never lets me update my location, I'm guessing cause I always just use my phone.

No that's odd tho because I always use my phone too and it lets me update my location.

I stalk people on the app too. But I'm never around anyone! Every time I'm anywhere I think I might be near somewhere people might be, there's NO ONE around!

But I did get to have a nice chat with Ms. Flatie on the phone the other day when Teddy was in the shop for his water pump.

I need some phone numbers so I can text peeps!
