omg that was awesome!

Well I must say, I really learned something today about other cultures and their hobbies. I honestly never knew there were so many Europeans running diesel engines in parking lots in winter! Wow! It's like a thing.
In America we go ice skating and drink hot cocoa, in Eastern Europe it seems they run diesel engines in parking lots and sip vodka. Do I have that right?
Very cool video. You should try being on a Frac well when they fire up the blenders. 6-8 12 cylinders diesel engines pushing around 1300hp each. The earth moves and it's amazing.
After watching that monster at the 3:30 mark... Your mechanics were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.
With apologies to Dr. Ian Malcolm chaos theorist.
Thanks, that was a real treat! I couldn't stop laughing at the guy at the 1:45 mark who disappeared behind a cloud of exhaust. That was fun!

Oh my God I've watched that guy at least 10 times! I can't stop laughing at the whole thing it's so outrageous.
And that beard!!
I've never heard an engine sound so angry about having to fire up, like it's had a really bad day already. It was the most disorganized, random, and chaotic spitting, sputtering, coughing mess then a huge cloud of smoke and that thing just sang after that. And the dude with the beard never flinched. Just stood there taking it all in.
Fantastic.
I've gone to NASCAR and NHRA races many times over the years. I'm delighted to no end standing next to a gigantic engine of any sort. It gets more fun every time. I'll stand in the nitro fumes until I need a parametric, I don't care.

Check this out. This is my 400 hp, 383 c.i. small block chevy motor in my '77 jacked up 3/4 ton. Really a fantastic street motor. This is the dyno run. If you have headphones you're gonna want to use em. Sounds pretty amazing.

More engine porn if you liked those.
The bug at the start is awesome lol, the green Detroit sounds so nice, and the rolls Royce in the plane at the end --- smooth!

YouTube - Powerful Engines Starting Compilation
This may be the most satisfying video that you see all day, if you're a fan of big, loud, engines. Literally, a bunch of folks just playing with their big toys.
Admittedly, some of the clips featuring people in loose clothing standing next to the spinning parts of a running engine make us kind of uncomfortable.

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.OOS:
