last month I had a death on the family so I actually smoke for the first time since I graduated high school I just passed my cdl test this past Monday and I will like to have a list of the companies that do hair follicle test

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

If you use the search box in the top left, enter "hair follicle test", the first entry will answer your request.

I might make sure you are clean in the urine too, before you start applying to companies. In some cases the process goes so quickly, you'll be at the doctors for DOT physical immediately. Just a thought. You DO NOT want to pee dirty.

You had better learn to deal with things differently. When your hired, they will pull you in for random test at any moment. Good luck

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

I will mention you can pick up at home urine tests for marijuana at wal-mart for ~$12 in the pharmacy section. As Tim F mentioned make certain you will pass that test before heading to a company, and once you get on with a company make certain you do not touch the stuff again, as the drug tests can come randomly at a moments notice.

Just remember that you will be tested for any little crash you get.... dot requirement. One of my clients insurance just tripled because they found cocaine and weed in one of his driver's blood after a crash.... please keep it clean

I did 8 ua's my first year. I was the lucky "guy" whose number kept coming up. Having been in Christian education for previous 15 years, I wasn't worried. Don't do it and beware of being around friends who might tempt you.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.
