I did 626 once, governed at 63, but that included 6 weigh stations, 3 DOT inspections, one 4 hr traffic jam, and fjorded one river. Oh, and I left 90 mins on my 11.

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

714 in a 70 mph governed truck with 13 minutes left on my clock. Gotta love those wide open spaces in Texas!

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Sure rub it in, CM. We are all stuck in the low 60s. Must be nice to go flying by other trucks fast enough to suck the paint job right off, lol.

Hey even I still get passed! They recently upped our lightweight ProStars to 75 as an incentive to get drivers to take them.

Not worried, the LW Prostars don't have enough mass to suck the paint off. Maybe some of the cheap wax, lol
