My Train the Trainer class is setup. I will be attending class starting on Feb 21. I will be joining the ranks of the other trainers on here very soon.

Any idea if you will have the choice of who your trainees are, or will it be something that your told this is who your taking on your truck? I don't think I'd be able to be a trainer. I'm glad that somebody like you is willing to train and teach them. I know it isn't about the money for you, but how does your pay work? I'd assume the truck won't run as many miles if your in passenger seat and would hate for you to lose money by making the decision to train. I look forward to hearing how you like training.

Just remember, you can't make them do push ups when they screw up.

Since Wolding does not team train, the way it works is the trainee does the majority of driving. Although after a week I am allowed to offset my clock by 4 hours. This will be at my discretion. I get paid for all miles the truck does. I will also get paid $75 every day I am training.

I can get far more creative than push-ups. I was an NCO for over a decade, lol. I am more partial to the slow burnout. Hold a pencil in each hand using only your fore finger and your thumb. Maintains your arms directly in front and extended. Also having the arms and pencils remaining parallel with the marching surface.

Congratulations. It's a real adventure for sure. Sounds like our training is done the same way.. No teaming and super solo with me being able to drive up to 4 hours, if necessary. I really wish they'd throw both driver and outward facing cameras in mine, strictly because I do train.

Congratulations Patrick. After reading your “preferred method” of training? I’m counting my blessings that I didn’t pick Wolding! Gave me flashbacks to my moms preferred punishment when I was a knucklehead kid. She once made me kneel on a cheese grater with my arms out to my sides as if I were on a cross. Good luck, God bless & stay safe sir.

I can't do civilians that way, but was effective in the military. Especially with the guys who liked to bulk up. Those arms get heavy within minutes, LoL.
