Big Scott, we don't want people using this forum to contact people for private conversations for two reasons:

1) The point of this forum is to help everyone learn from each other. They can't do that if the conversations are private.

2) There are drivers that try to recruit drivers to their company in order to earn referral bonuses and we don't allow that because people won't be honest and this place will turn into a carnival of people looking to make a buck. So please don't encourage people to contact you through email. I've removed your email address from your profile.

Thanks.

I guess I have to be G-Town or Errol to have direct contact. CFI gives no referral bonus or credit for brining students. I get nothing for them coming to CFI. By them having a way to contact me directly, they get me and other experienced drivers to help them along their way.

I have gotten so much out of this sight and it is my pleasure to give back in every way I can.

Big Scott please don’t pull me into this. Has nothing to do with me and how I conduct myself in this forum.

My disrectionary use of email and direct contact speaks for itself, and I have never published my personal email address on my profile.

I provide my spamgourmet address to people I want to meet or who want to meet me (same with Errol). The only other time I have offered my email is to directly help a driver with any company trying to learn the Walmart account. Tractor Man is the most recent example and that was over a year ago.

You can have direct contact right here in the forum. The idea is for everyone to learn from each other. If you're having private conversations with people then no one else benefits from that. Like G-Town said, they've only done that on very rare occasions and it's normally because they were going to meet up with someone.

I have gotten so much out of this sight and it is my pleasure to give back in every way I can.

And we appreciate the heck out of that. That's what makes this community so amazing is the group of wonderful, honest, helpful people here to give people advice and help them with their career. We just want to make sure everyone benefits from everything whenever possible.

Sitting in Waco "hot as blue blazes", TX for my 10. Damn, I cannot seem to get off from running nights! I believe my finisher is 'the devil', haha. Will be heading to Joplin in 2 days to test out (successfully, I hope). I still do not have confidence in the steps required for our onboard elogs relating to logging pick ups, delivery, etc.. We have been really moving, and it has been difficult for my trainer to get us the time to really get deep into the steps. I'll need to check with CFI for any procedural documents I can get that list the steps to complete some of the forms. I haven't rubbed any curbs, still....yet, and need more confidence with some backing and making sure I am in the lanes I should be during rush hours (such as in the Dallas-Fort Worth area this am. Ugh!

Are you at the Flying J? The PeopleNet will come to you. I can help and there are training videos for it on YouTube. They may offer you a class on it. Don't sweat it. Good luck on the upgrade.

I was at the Pilot. I am sure that the Peoplenet will come to me. Thanks again for your offering to help. I'll definitely be calling when I go solo.

Headed to Joplin tomorrow morning. Should test out sometime Thursday or Friday. Maybe I'll get lucky and not test out until Monday due to the weekend.

Your trainer could talk to Amber and set it up for Monday.
