Yesterday I had my closest call while driving in a truck. I got off the highway waited for the light to change made my left turn and was crossing the bridge in the right lane when someone coming off the highway from East bound ramp pulled out right in front of me. Had I not been watching my mirrors and known my left side was clear and available I would have hit them in the drivers door doing about 40+. They got so close to me I could no longer see them over my hood and I was driving one of our 2019s with a big slope also only have 6k in the boxes helped.

It was definitely a pucker up moment, I won't forget the look she had as I swerved around her any time soon.

Hopefully she will remember that feeling and pay better attention....so question, in that case, did your evasive action trigger a recordable event, or however they describe it?

For everyone's cerebral hard drive:

Burn the above into your personal RAM. Third time I read a mirror story this week. It's the only reason the accidents were avoided.

Funny, well maybe not, the "accidents" described on the forum either first or second hand are never accompanied with the content in the quotes above" More like; "no idea how it happened."

Well done Bobcat!

Surprisingly no, but sometimes going through construction zones the barrels set off the collision warning and it starts to record.

I'm glad you were paying attention and I'm definitely taking the warning to heart. It can be crazy out here.
