Very good news!
Congratulations!
I had found a very desirable southeast dedicated route on Schneider’s site & thought I’d saved it but can’t find it anymore. They had an 8k bonus & guaranteed $1250 weekly. Guess I’ll just keep running OTR until something similar pops up.
A driver or carrier who transports cargo between regular, prescribed routes. Normally it means a driver will be dedicated to working for one particular customer like Walmart or Home Depot and they will only haul freight for that customer. You'll often hear drivers say something like, "I'm on the Walmart dedicated account."
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
Congrats! I had to drive from the Carlisle, PA OC down to the Atlanta OC to meet mine, so that is lucky. Good luck on your TE week and your hard skills test. I got my Schneider truck on Wednesday, so I'm right there with you!

Are you still on your first home time getting your truck set up etc?

Pretty excited to pass my qualification test today, I only had a few points for making two wide turns, running into the grass very little for this button hook turn.
I got assigned a TE and will be meeting him this Sunday, which I will be with him for 5-7 days. Lucky for me, it's in my home town so I don't have to meet him anywhere like some of the other people in my class.
