Yeah, I'm not touching that either. My opinion would probably start a war.

Todd... What exactly is the George Zimmerman mentality?

A mind to survive at all costs.

So are you actually considering a career or you here for entertainment??? Are you chicken little or what? Think about what you are advocating here. Every trucker armed-every trucker gets mad over a nicked mirror or worse backing into another trucker's truck-could have a shoot out at the "OK Corral."

Wouldn't that be good for promoting a trucking lifestyle!

But Zimmerman started the fight got his back side handed to him then he had to go for his gun. So yes Zimmerman did end up having to use deadly force to protect his self in a fight he started.... there are better examples to follow.

Don't let random stories make you think that there is more going on then there really is. Ya it sucks that guy got beaten up but how does that compare to the general population statistically?

Also don't get me wrong I am a big 2nd amendment supporter, it's just I also believe that avoidance is the better way.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Agreed. The gun should not be the first level of security but the last resort. The last thing I would want to do is provoke trouble.

Layers of security can be:

1. situational awareness 2. locked doors and windows 3. guard dogs 4. electronic alarms 5. firearms, if you so wish

All I'm saying is even you have nothing on your realm of thought regarding the possibility of being a crime victim ever as a truck driver on the job, it seems not prudent to let your guard down in that regard. It seems that driving a rig has a plethora of potential dangers everywhere.

Entertainment. He is just trolling.

Why do people call things they disagree with on a discussion board "trolling"?
