Hello all,

I’m a producer for the BBC here in London – UK. I’m working on an episode of the BBC Radio 4 series ‘Don’t Log Off’ in which we record personal stories from around the world. They’re stories about the things that unite people across different cultures.

For an upcoming episode we are going to be speaking with truck drivers from across the globe. This will be an informal and fun, pre-recorded interview with our producer, Alan Dein in English either by skype or WhatsApp. Our producer is really interested in the unique view of the world that truckers get to see and also of personal stories which might come out of the conversation.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in taking part in - please so not hesitate to get in touch. My email address is Hannah.dean@bbc.co.uk We can have a chat by phone to discuss further. Here is a link to our previous series https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01jxzy9

I look forward to hearing from you! Very best wishes, Hannah

I hope some of our experienced members are willing to take advantage of this opportunity. The BBC is obviously a top-notch organization and my personal go-to for world news on XM radio. Honestly presented; without bias! If there was a PhD program for drivers, the moderators on this site would be our professors.

BBC has been my favorite for a few decades for those reasons you listed.

Thank you for your kind words about the BBC! Do you know if there is a way of directly messaging members of this site. There are a few people I'd like to get in contact with regarding contributing to our program. I have potentially secured a trucker in the US, Canada and the UK and am now looking for people in other parts of the world who might be interested in being involved. If you know of anyone please do send contact details to hannah.dean@bbc.co.uk

Best wishes, Hannah
