As usual Rainy has another fantastic article. This was spot on. No one does these things on purpose. But they happen and we need to get out of them. But the best thing to do is not panic. But of course this is the first thing that starts to set in. Being calm is your friend and not your enemy.
Thanks again for creating this article.

Great article Rainy. Using real examples of how someone got into a tough situation and then got out of it SAFELY really helps. It's easy to become overwhelmed and panic in a situation like that but we need to control our emotions and focus.
In all seriousness thank you (and all moderators) for your contributions here. It helps many new drivers and even experienced drivers.
Rainy, nice piece of work, thanks for putting that on paper, so to speak. One thing that came to mind while reading it was a point of emphasis from my instructors during training: If the problem is creating a safety hazard, call law enforcement so they can direct traffic while you back out or maneuver out of a tricky situation. The police would rather do that than deal with an accident. And then all that gets hurt is your pride!

Another fantastic new article by Rainy!
Every driver finds themselves in tough circumstances from time to time - a parking lot that's too small to maneuver, a country road with no place to turn around, and all kinds of crazy circumstances.
We all love to hear stories from the road. In this article Rainy share some stories of really tough circumstances she's been in over the years, how she got out of them, and the lessons she learned from it.
