Brett

I have tried twice today to put out a thread and then my fat fingers hits the wrong key and I have lost the thread. A little help please.

TWIC:

Transportation Worker Identification Credential

Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.

Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.

There's no way to recover anything if you lost it. It's not like email where it saves your drafts as you're typing. If you accidentally changed pages or something then whatever you typed is gone I'm afraid.

Ok thanks for getting back to me. As always TT is the best. I just need to watch where my fat fingers touch.

If you are using your phone to type, you probably are hitting the menu button on the lower right of the screen when you are scrolling. If that happens just scroll down and hit the red X.smile.gif

I removed that button from within the conversations like two weeks ago. It isn't even there anymore. But it is on the main page still.

ProTip!

On your phone or tablet, write it up on "Notes" or "NotePad" (depending on your phone/tablet type). Then, just Copy/Paste in here.

This trick has saved me countless times because I am writing a lot when I am on the go. It's really hard to mess it up in there.

YEAH! THANKS BRETT!

I've done that more times than I care to admit!

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
