Chris, that's really cool. Good job. And I see your shadow in the photo. Don't forget to take your shadow with you when you leave.
Way to go! With tough backing situations I feel a great sense of accomplishment after I bump the dock. You hit the nail on the head, Slow and smooth. Who cares if anybody is watching.

Looks like no one was watching this one. That's what I like because it makes me nervous if other drivers are watching. Especially if I see them laughing.
Great job Chris.
Great Job Chris! The tough ones seem to makes us nuts until we dock. Then it feels like Christmas all over again. You can go to your happy place and sigh a sign of relief. Good taking pics of it.

Great job! Take as long as you need getting into these off-camber docks. These can be a real challenge sometimes. I’ve been to a bunch where one must wonder, “Who designed this?”. At least the sun wasn’t blinding you from behind, judging by your shadow.

This was my first challenge this morning. I'm currently in Williamsport, PA getting newsprint rolls off loaded. Basically I had to back at an angle to the blind side with a 53' on the back with a line of trees and a telephone pole on my left and Darrell's and another loading dock on the right. I pulled up and got myself set up as best I could. I jumped out my GOAL started out by getting the back end towards the building back to the dock and jumped out to check and I was still too far over to the driver's side. Pulled up and adjusted and backed it in right where they wanted it. It's amazing how you can have a big challenge that initially freaks you out. Then you take a breath settle down and think about what you have to do an make a plan. Of course also take your time slow and smooth.
