Lucky! I'm 40 years old and I have been summoned... 0 times. Never even been asked.

The last time I got summoned for jury duty, I was on with Maxine Clark (Build a Bear). After being told repeatedly that we could not use phones, the bailiff snatched hers out of her hand.

I got summoned once. Sat for a week. On Friday at 230pm they called us in to begin the selection process. I suggested to some self employed folks that demonstrating a preformed perception of guilt based on arrest and arraignment may help them escape another WEEK without pay. I knew i was fine, it was an agg robbery of an 80 yr old by three 20something thugs. I was a hostile juror for the defense, based on my profession at that time.

I still say that when someone did a hit and run on Darryl Isaacs (the hammer) while riding his bicycle on Bardstown Road in Louisville a couple years ago, they didn't hit him hard enough. He was only in the hospital a couple weeks.

Am I mean for thinking like that? Nah.
