I have a friend who drives for USA Truck. They were trying to recruit him to run "Amazon Dedicated," but he likes his GP dedicated gig, too much.

At first, it did seem like it was mainly o/o who were pulling the Bezos Buckets, but those rates are steadily dropping, to the point where the bigger companies can do it for less.

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Driving for Amazon is like driving for Uber or Lyft. You'll lose money on every trip, but they tell you you'll make up for it in volume!

They settled back in May '22. I'm sure Prime, Inc. (Revenue $1.9 Billion) got a nice check from Amazon.com (Revenue $502.2 Billion).

Prime Inc. settles lawsuit with Amazon

An order of dismissal with prejudice signed in May by Judge Douglas Harpool points to a "settlement agreement reached between the parties." Each party in the case was required to pay its own court costs and attorneys' fees, according to the order.

Reached via email this morning, Prime Inc. General Counsel Steve Crawford said the terms of the settlement are "all subject to a mutual confidentiality agreement."
