Jeremy,

The satellite view of Skyline Caverns shows a CMV trailer in the parking lot.

Good luck.

Managed to stop at the New River Gorge bridge overlook early one morning. They have a few oversize spots but I wouldn't recommend it in the middle of the day when it's likely busy.

Yea that car looked like it didn't draw in the crowds anymore but I am fascinated to be near pieces of history.

On the plus side, whiskey Pete's is back to providing free drinks to patrons playing video poker and all at the bar, just found

I'm glad you and your wife are getting the chance to explore as well. It truly turns the job into a paid adventure.

Not scenic, but I ran into Jake and Elwood in Joliet earlier this week.

I have not taken a truck there but they do have parking I think. If you are a Navy buff like myself i highly recommend seeing the Battleship USS Alabama in Mobile Alabama or seeing the aircraft carrier USS Yourktown and destroyer USS laffey at Patriots Point in Charleston SC or the Buffalo Naval park in Buffalo NY. Very cool way to kill a few hours.
