Wow that's rough, especially if you've adjusted your lifestyle to fit the income. I can't imagine taking an unexpected 20K hit. I'm sorry to hear that man.
Bobcat That is a rough gig. Sorry to here it. Well when I got in my motorcycle accident 9 years ago, I went from 59k to 18.6k a year. It is a hard change. But soon you'll have the seniority and get back to where you were.
Good luck

Thanks!
After driving a Cab/Limo for 3 years I am super blessed to be in a position where I can considered a pay cut.
Yesterday I was the victim of the bid run, we had to do a rebid for some reason and unfortunately someone else wanted the run I had gotten a few months ago. So I went from a 10 am run that was worth over 100k a year back to the 2 part 10 pm run I had before that is worth 80kish a year.
I thought I would have the day time run for a least a year unfortunately someone with more seniority wanted to work days.
Although I am extreamly disappointed it is all part of the process and in a few years I will be able to bump people instead of being bumped.
Our road guys bid twice a year. Usually during the Winter bid senior guys will come off their bid runs and fall to the extra board knowing they will get the choice daytime/Southern runs during the Winter months.
