I was supposed to deliver in the Subtropolis Caves in KC but the warehouse forgot to load the product so I dont get to go. I looked it up on youtube and this particular one looked tight but fun. We also go to the caves in Independence MO off Truman rd which I've heard are even tighter. What caves have you been to? Any pics!?

One thing: without seeing the sky (which direction is the sun?), it's hard to tell which way to go out.

Check this post put: Colossal Cave Driving

After my trailer was unloaded, on pulling out I had to do two "pull-backs" to get out of the dock area.

Thanks Errol I forgot about that thread! Reading reviews for the receiver there was one that said this particular customer inside you better be able to blindside 90 into tight spaces or you're screwed so I was looking forward to the challenge. Aside from the climate control aspect I just find it absolutely crazy that they would put these businesses underground.

"My" particular cave system has "dugout" spaces opposite dock areas to pull into both backing in and for pulling out. It's just tighter than a convenience store parking space.

I was in the one’s in Mo operated by americold if I remember right. It was very tight and weird for sure. I never went back.

This was somewhere in MO.

Watch out for those rock columns!

Been to the Kraft caves in Springfield a few times, and a couple other places. There was some caves I want to say northeast of Kansas City out in the boonies that we loaded at that was pretty crazy. A truck caught on fire in the caves, and they had to evacuate. I remember that one we had to drive all the way to the back of the cave system and it was really foggy and couldn't see much of anything.

That looks like Americold in Carthage MO that Buttball uses.

It could be Carthage, Dave. Rings a bell. I remember it was really dark getting from the gate to the cave entrance and the drive was curvy (they provided a map). There was a big parking lot outside the cave entrance too.

Sounds about right. I have some video of my cave adventure. One of these days I'll up it to YouTube so I share it with y'all.
