I got passed by a truck and the driver was turned facing the passenger door with both legs up on the passenger seat, back up against the drivers door, no seat belt while on his phone. Doing probably around 75 mph with 35 mph + wind gusts and some snow flurries.

He must be one of those Jedi Drivers that works for Millennial Falcon Freight Lines. He's probably the dedicated driver for the Kessel run!!!! rofl-3.gifrofl-3.gifrofl-3.gifrofl-1.gifrofl-1.gif

Well don't you be doing that, Bob. Just a matter of time before that guy is a statistic.

I have that pesky shifter in my way... that and the desire not to crash.

I would bet money on him not having those equipped on that dinosaur he was driving.

He probably stopped on the shoulder to take a nap and forgot to set his brake.

Now THAT'S hilarious!!rofl-3.gif

Too bad we can't 'unsee' what we've seen, though. B'cat Bob... about 7 years ago, when I was riding w/the hubby pulling asphalt, the truck on my side (passenger) was going maybe 45 in a 65 when Tom went to 'safely' pass in the middle lane, and I looked in the other guy's rig, and .. a face appeared besides his in the driver's window. Didn't have a camera phone (well not a good one) at the time. Guessing the 'Co'driver' was napping?!?!?

Shifters DO serve their purpose, at times, huh? sorry.gif

Be safe,

Annie~!

Another member of the White Volvo gang? Haha I have no doubts you witnessed this. Few months back I was on 80/90 heading towards Chesterton 49. It was about 3 in the morning. Was in the middle lane slowly creeping pass a truck in the right. As I was passing something caught my eye. I glanced over, and the driver had is bare foot up on the dash clipping his toenails with a ridiculous pair of headphones on his head that looked like they were connected to his phone that was in plain view on the dash with the movie John Wick 3 playing. I recognized a scene since I had recently just seen it. Crazy.

Holy cow, yep! Not sure if you were addressing me, or the O/P ... but yep. I didn't even TELL my lead driver (husband) what I couldn't unsee. White hoods, predominant black 'swag' (if you will) .. that was what WE passed, as well! (We were in a Peter'hood, similar to yours in the avatar...)

Be safe, drivers!
