This has been a crazy week for sure. Left this morning around 3:30am and it was pouring down rain and dark as a burnt bbq smoke sausage!! Did I mention it was extremely windy on I-69 going south to Columbus,IN. But got back safe and sound.

Yeah Jammer the wind and rain has kicked my butt today. Driving down I-65 was a nightmare. Especially in a day cab. The wing just kept smacking the sides of the tractor (makes sense since it's so light). I toned down on my speed just a smidge. It helped somewhat. But glad my trainer and I made it back safe. Be careful out there man. Papa Pig I swear it feels like I do lmao. And definitely getting my backing. I did really good with parking my trailer at the terminal after coming back from the customer. Took me 10mins to get it in it's spot (usually it takes me 20-25mins to back in it's spot). My trainer was very impressed which gave me confidence. Hopefully tomorrow morning will be another great day☺️☺️
Terminal:
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
Day Cab:
A tractor which does not have a sleeper berth attached to it. Normally used for local routes where drivers go home every night.
