Tuesday, 29 September 2020, is National Coffee Day.

All TA, Petro, and TA Express locations are giving away a cup of free java tomorrow. Just scan your Ultra One Rewards card at a kiosk, or at the register, for a freebie!

I'll be sure to let the hubby know; thanks~!

Couldn't figure out what Pre Shipment Advices , (or 'P' specific antogens) had to do what coffee, however! You got me there. . . . clueless. Thanks tho!

Awhh! Public Safety Assessment ?!?!?

Free coffee is ALWAYS good; especially to 'buffer' the confusion that tomorrow will instill on many a driver, I'd imagine, LoL~!!

Cool. Yeah they woke me up twice today regarding this update for tomorrow. I think it is all finally installed. After midnight log out/back in and it should be active. I’m gonna be testing it at a shippers in the morning. They requested early delivery tomorrow so if the thing actually pauses my 14 for up to 3 hours I’ll be fine. Otherwise will run out of hours during delivery.

Shipper:

The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.

TWIC:

Transportation Worker Identification Credential

Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.

Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.

Did you bring it to their attention that it was supposed to be free all day, according to the radio commercials?

Yeah but apparently the food case side doesn't honor or accept the rewards card so I would have had to get a refund on it then take the coffee over to the store or fuel register to get it free...too much hassle. I paid with a debit card also so they would have had to credit it back to the account.
