It doesn't matter which party is in charge. The Federal Government reacts to the economy, it doesn't create the economy.

The United States will survive and thrive under any president as one man(person) is not capable of ever changing that.

All the president does in the end is accept credit or receive blame for the ups and downs of the economy.

We'll flip both houses in the mid-terms - if we can RE-SECURE THE VOTING SYSTEMS. But all that does is STEM THE TIDE UNTIL '24.

ECONOMIES ARE NOT BUILT ON GOVERNMENT SPENDING - THEY ARE DESTROYED.

Most of the picks for his admin - are ALL OBAMA ADMIN MEMBERS. The Great Black Messiah will probably have his own suite in the West Wing.

Rick, a Harris/Biden WH will grant voting rights to DC and probably Puerto Rico. They will grant representation in the Senate and House to DC. They will grant amnesty and voting rights to illegal aliens, there is already a 21% surge in illegal crossings last month. They will redraw congressional districts. They will force suburbs to erects affordable housing, therefore bringing the ghetto into the suburbs and neutralizing conservative votes in those areas. They will pack the courts. The end result will be a permanent democrat voting block allowing them to forever stay in power. There will be no turning back, and no chance in 2024. That is why this is the most important election in our countries history, and we can not allow them to steal this election.

We drivers can be flawless on the roads, perfectly dock to get loaded or unloaded, always be on time but still get fired. How? Our conduct with people.

I agree with many of Trump's policies but his conduct, his rhetoric is what cost him the election.

So, Americans had such contempt for his mean, America First policy, that they showed up in droves and waited hours in line for his rallies, and held huge unprecedented boat parades for him? C'mon man. And, we all know that he didn't loose the election, that the democrats are attempting to steal it from him.

Yes. A lot of Americans do.

Reguardless, Trump isn't needed for the conservative agenda to continue. The issues at hand are far bigger than one person.

Biden can not grant voting rights to DC/Puerto Rico. A president does not have that authority.

There will not be an increase in the Supreme Court. Even if the Democrats win both Georgia seats, not all Democratic Senators will vote for it.

Actually - there are, with few exceptions - very few "true conservatives" in office. Even Trump is an "opportunistic conservative" - where his fiscal views, immigration policy and trade policies can be viewed as "conservative" - but aside from an "america first" agenda - he's pretty much a moderate capitalist. Maybe Nunes, Cruz and a few are TRUE CONSERVATIVES - Rand Paul is a libertarian in republican clothes but tends more towards the conservative agenda than a "true libertarian" (who are very much for open borders/open trade - regardless of whether or not WE get abused by those views). Cocaine-Mitch McConnell and the rest aren't really conservative - they are just trying to keep their jobs and line their pockets - like EVERYONE ELSE. The RINOS have really shown their colors. Once someone is no longer in a position to "do for them" - they are cast aside. Conversely - the R's were a tool for Trump, whose agenda may not have been wholly to the parties advantage, but they party had to "go along to get along".

Keeping in mind - the dems have swung SO FAR LEFT - that even a "moderate dem" (like Manchin - who is trying to KEEP HIS SEAT, in conservative West VA), seems like a "right winger" today. And Romney is just a CUCK - moving to Utah and leveraging his "magic underwear" to get elected. He runs as an R - because the couldn't get near office as a D - but he is PLAINLY A LIBERAL.

This is TRUE - the executive cannot unilaterally grant statehood OR increase the number of seats on the bench - but WILL GO ALONG WITH THE PARTY. Joes LIFES DREAM was to sit on the O-Office. He doesn't care how he got there - probably won't realize he is EVEN THERE half the time. AND WILL GO ALONG WITH THE PARTY LINE. HE IS NOT A LEADER - HE IS A RUBBER STAMP. And piling on Obama admin personnel is demonstrative of where his agenda is going (Obama's 3rd Term).

Upping SCOTUS is a long-time dream of the left - especially since Trump was able to seat 3 constitutional conservatives - in addition to Thomas. Roberts is HOPELESSLY COMPROMISED. One can only hope with Trump gone, he will RETURN TO CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATISM - because he OVERTLY DESPISED TRUMP. But after the ACA "not a penalty, but a tax" flipflop - he is OWNED - likely by THREAT than by actual payoff.

The addition of PR is likely, they've been wanting to do this for awhile. D.C. just doesn't have enough GEOGRAPHY to rate statehood - despite being essentially "disenfranchised" - but they KNEW THIS GOING IN. The "federal enclave" (which is what DC IS) should be shrunk down to include the WH/Capital and the other immediate federal properties (the mall, monuments, etc.) - and let the residential areas be reabsorbed by MD. 68 square miles DOES NOT STATEHOOD JUSTIFY. Especially when 1/2 of that isn't even residential/voter territory - but federal buildings.

Nevertheless - with both houses and the WH - the left will MOVE RAPIDLY WITHOUT REGARD TO THE 73 MILLION PEOPLE THAT DIDN'T VOTE FOR THEM. Seeing this as their "mandate", and striking while the iron is HOT. And this will go ALONG PARTY LINES - with even the resisters going along with it - as this is THEIR CHANCE TO CONSOLIDATE POWER - ONCE AND FOR ALL TIME.

I HOPE I AM WRONG - but after the behavior of the last 4 years - I HIGHLY DOUBT IT.

Aside from the "old guard" (who AOC has been working TIRELESSLY TO PRIMARY OUT - WITH DARK MONEY), a majority of the D's are TOO AFRAID of the "new kids" to resist. They will be peacefully put to pasture - with an assurance the annuities they built for themselves will be left intact if they step aside.

This is NOT JFK'S DEMOCRATS - and I WAS ONE FOR MANY YEARS - until I just could find NO COMMON GROUND. NONE. I'm not 100% behind the R's either - but there's enough in common with them, that I moved over after the Charlatan O got elected - that was THE.LAST.STRAW for me.

Now it's all about "protected classes", feeding minors steroids so they can be a gender other than what their chromosomes are (and if you wanna mutilate yourself as an adult - GO FOR IT - NOT ON MY DIME, and LEAVE THE FRIGGIN CHILDREN ALONE) and CONTROL OF THE MASSES THROUGH A UNIQUE COMBINATION OF GUILT AND FEAR.

We'll revisit this discussion in two years - to see who ended up being correct. But if I AM - my response will likely be coming from somewhere in Central America. If they do EVEN HALF the stuff they want - I REALLY DON'T WANT TO STAY HERE.

And TCB - figure out how to cut and paste - there's no reason to have a zillion response posts, when it's just as easy to make your points IN ONE.

Do I believe that that the Main Stream Media was very biased and favored one candidate over the other - you betcha! Was there allot of hinkey stuff going on during this past election without a doubt! Will our industry be effective by policies enacted by the incoming administration most definitely! Will it be painful? It will! IMHO O/O and independent drivers will be effective the most. (In addition to the push a nation wide AB5 style type of legislation. Bernie has avocated the idea of eliminating 'Right to Work" and forcing everyone to unionize). Everyone has stated that they like DJT's policies but don't like his personality. I think it is quite refreshing since the day he declared his candidacy in '15 he hasn't taken any S!$t from the media. The reason is we have never had a Present go head to head with the activist media like Trump has. The press has corrupted themselves and the american people will never trust them again. What it really comes down to is the Liberal Progressive Democrats think that they can run our lives better than we can. I like listening to the Patriot channel on Sirius XM and on of the commintators Andrew Wilkow has a really good saying: " You have the right to be free and I have the right to be free from you!" You live you life and I will live mine. But the Liberal Progressive Democrats cannot accept this and must control everything. It's all about POWER and the incoming administration will wield it without a doubt.

DAC:

Drive-A-Check Report

A truck drivers DAC report will contain detailed information about their job history of the last 10 years as a CDL driver (as required by the DOT).

It may also contain your criminal history, drug test results, DOT infractions and accident history. The program is strictly voluntary from a company standpoint, but most of the medium-to-large carriers will participate.

Most trucking companies use DAC reports as part of their hiring and background check process. It is extremely important that drivers verify that the information contained in it is correct, and have it fixed if it's not.

As far as regulations in the trucking industry, it was a Democratic controlled Congress and Democratic President that passed and signed the MCA Act, which deregulated trucking.

She didn't bail anyone out directly, but she did encourage people to donate to a fund to raise bail money for rioters and looters. Does that not bother you?

Kinda off a bit, but still connected. I’ll ask ya’ll what you think.

I got a call a couple nights ago from a buddy. He drove for 3 years and went back to the construction business 4 years ago. He thinks the new admin if it stands will kill the construction industry and is thinking about returning to trucking. He has maintained his cdl and does drive the companies tractor trailer. I think the way he described it to me it can be considered driving local. I told him to just hang in and see what happens for the short term, not to jump ship till we see how things actually go.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
