Saw this on a Reddit sub today; awesome and gorgeous.. no clue WHAT it is, but an amazing bull hauler .. perhaps?

I just thought an 'oldies' thread (since many of us ARE getting . . . well . . . 'mature' here, haha!) would be COOL~!! Trucks, pics, songs, whatnot... reminiscing is often fun.. at least for me!

I'm not sure how to post music on here, but was listening to some really good stuff w/ my ole' guy last night, and just got 'inspired!'

So, G Town ... anyone else?

I.D. this sort of COE ?!?!? I love this stuff~!!!! THANKS, y'all~!!!

Damn DOT by elmer fuddpucker is a good one lol. Chris ledoux The Ride. Lots of the old country songs are great driving music.

Man, I LOVE that Alabama song. Dunno when it came out, but was popular in 2004 and up, when my son was born and 'daddy' was OTR back then. I bawled my EYES out, when it came on the radio. Daughter was 4 and Son was an infant. Tough times! Made it through, though. It's tough w/ small kids, as you probably know.

Yessir, MANY good ole' country songs are the bomb. John Prine has many a tear'jerker, too. Didn't even KNOW the 1st one . . . until now, thanks!

Be safe, y'all~!!

OTR:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

Very nice Ann. The other day my trainer and I were headed from Springfield down to Dallas area. I enjoy seeing the names of towns I have heard about but never drove through. So we come upon Muskogee,OK and my trainer grabs his phone and cues up Okie from Muskogee. Good times. I did find the best time to drive around Dallas, never, ha ha. I bet that Diamond T has about the same power and speed rating as our new rigs got. Cheers

Man, Okie from Muskogee.. reminds me of that movie...that I can't remember .. nvm 'Officer and a Gentleman!' Remember that? I'm all about ALL kinds of oldies. Showing my AGE!

I need to research the Diamond T. Is that good or bad, re: the same power/speed? Thinking that's a 'dis' to the new stuff, haha! It's just GORGEOUS!

We need to start another thread on here, about weird towns and street names. PackRat has one of a town called ZZyyXX (sp?) somewhere, haha!

I've got 'this' not far from the homefront! 0454586001605769533.jpg

Just fed the hubby supper; and heading to bed; until next time.. yep, I'm the 'night'chica ... not by choice; just default, haha!!
