When you know what you like.

What darkness hides. I pulled into an AmBest lot in West Frankfort Kentucky last night around 2200, all looked good, nothing amiss. This morning however, this was right beside the parking lot. Some of that tornado damage.

This guy pulls in next to me. Normally I barely hear reefers, this on the other hand. When it started up, I thought someone started a lawn mower up at 2am. It ran for maybe 30 seconds then kicked in. Sounded like they started the blades on said lawnmower. What the heck is this, Satan's reefer?

A refrigerated trailer.

I don't know about that unit, though it looks similar to units I've noticed on the various sized box trucks delivering at stores and restaurants. My limited reader experience has all been Thermo King units that run the height of the the trailer nose, not horizontally as your photo shows

That looks like a heater those are generally about that size.

Looks like it is as old as me though.

Ahh... makes sense.

Like when my kiddo puts a Dr. Pepper (popper) in the freezer for a few minutes and forgets it.. it isn't pretty.

Seriously, never'd thought about that. SEE how much I learn here? I really do. I love it. Thanks!
