Well, after a day and a half company shutdown when we hit Rawlins Neb we got to move. West bound was shut down, heard a truck wreck plus snow building up.

Made it as far as Aurora, Neb and had to park it again yesterday! Got a spot at Love's it's been nasty since we got here.

Finally, sucked it up n went in for coffee food n few watermelon cups lol tryin to eat healthier. Don't know how we will be stuck here. This loads never gunna get there to Lockport, IL.

Then we have waiting an XPO load out of La Salle to Sacramento.....Really??? Back right thru this crap again??? Haha 2000 miles might bea dang week.

I hate winter lol and the northern half this country. Oh well we can't control feisty mother nature!!

I'm feeling your pain Stevo! That's one gnarly stretch of highway when the weather is not cooperating. We've all been shut down up there before, but you seem to be catching a little extra exposure up there. Ask your driver manager if there is any freight moving down South. Let him know you'd like to get in on a little bit of that southern stuff.

Driver Manager:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

I’m stuck here at the Petro in York Nebraska for my first Midwestern winter storm as a truck driver.

Call me crazy but I’m loving it. I can imagine it won’t take me long at all until I’m singing a different tune, though!

Are you at the loves in Aurora, NE currently? Because I’ve been shutdown since this morning at the same loves.

I’d like to add, I would’ve gotten out of here. But when I got to the customer at 0700 this morning, nobody showed up for work since the weather was really bad. So had to park at the truck stop here until tomorrow when the storm passes. So hopefully they will show up then!

Lockport is the next town over from me. We are supposed to get a few inches of snow tonight and have and a winter storm warning until 5 pm Tuesday so becareful if you get headed this way.

I decided to play it safe and stay home tonight will have to make it up over the weekend if the weather allows which doesn't look to promising right now.

Lol Yes OS I been bugging him to find us some lane to run the southern 14 to no avail YET! I might just get ahold of our dedicated division and ask a few questions on what might be available. Am kinda fed up "running wild" all over the place. 16th month, and I haven't had ANY issues, or smacked anything out here, and plan to keep it that way

Yeah Jamie am at the same Loves, grabbed an end spot by a schneider storage trailer, & directly facing the scale. Had this YRC dbls parked goofy in front of this row of trucks for hours now. Sure its hard to find parking everywhere.

I don’t know if you’re up, but we could meet up for a few minutes if you want. I’m parked directly facing the tire pass fuel island. Got my marker lights on, red Crete truck hard to kiss.

But I’ll be heading out soon, to attempt to make this delivery yet again. Hopefully people actually showed up to work today or I’m ask my asset manager about dropping it at our yard. So I can get rolling again.
