I will be staying home tonight we have a winter storm warning all along my route. Suppsed to be 5 inches by my house to over a foot in someplace.
Be grateful you got to call off. Tom tried. His boss started calling MY phone; apparently 'others' (Don Ho ???) Called off earlier; hubby's otw to Napoleon/Campbells (Thanks, Don) up by Toledo.
Jeep's broke, on top of it all. Drove the RWD Ranger in today. SMDH. Bossman says he can bring the rig home ALL WEEK. Probably will.

If you are ever running 59, there's a T/A on the loop in Nacogdoches. Post on here what time you'll be stopping there and your truck number. I'll meet you and we can do that. I'd be proud to meet ya!

I haven't called off yet but I will soon. Hopefully he gets there safe, at lease he has a long box and a twin screw tractor, my single axle with a set would be interesting. Personally if I was him I'd tell the boss I'm not running if they called off cause it's not safe for them, then it's not safe for me.

Gotcha. He used to run those for FX/LH about 10 years ago.

I have not seen any FX trucks all day on I-70 from the Indiana/Illinois border to Oak Grove, MO. That's never happened.
What is FX? Are you talking about FedEx? If so, I saw several singles and doubles on I-70 today between Columbus, OH and Indianapolis.
Doubles:
Refers to pulling two trailers at the same time, otherwise known as "pups" or "pup trailers" because they're only about 28 feet long. However there are some states that allow doubles that are each 48 feet in length.
