No, not a tire. Receiver required a TRAILER blowout for a food grade load. I was directed to a nearby company that is contracted to do these blowouts, but they were closed when I needed the blowout. So, I did it myself with my broom and scraper.

In the future, I’m thinking about carrying a cordless leaf blower/ vac for trailer clean out. Anybody here use this method?

Yes sir. I carry a 60 volt Craftsman blower just for blowing out trailers. A bunch of Westrock and GPI loads require a sweep out for paper rolls. I don't like sweeping so I bought a large, strong blower. I had one load for food grade paper rolls they made me wash the trailer out because there was some grout dust from the prior load and they said blowing it out wasn't good enough.

I have a cordless on the truck but I mainly use it to blow dry my beard, saving myself hours.

And someone said humor was frowned on here. I love it when clever guys like PackRat post funny comments. Never does any harm to laugh or smile.

I have a DeWalt 20v. Works wonders. I like sweeping out the trailer sometimes too though. Good to get a little exercise. I can't grow a beard long enough to use a blower on it.

I’m getting a cordless blower/vac combo from Ryobi because I already have cordless tools from Ryobi. After my recent experience, I am of the mind that this is an essential tool to carry on the truck. My thinking is that if I get this, I want the vac feature to help me keep the truck clean.
