Meet & Greet

Another winter season is coming to an end and I am getting the 5th wheel ready for the summer trips. I'm going to be watching the GPS Tracker for driver posts and hopefully will get to meet a few of you as I have done in the past.

I start from Winter Haven, FL. and travel to Gulf Shores, AL. for the month of May. I check to see if anyone is near there daily and hopefully I will have the opportunity to say hello and enjoy some trucker conversations.

Wife and I had a great weekend. We met our son and daughter-in-law in Gulfport, Ms. for his promotion ceremony to Master Chief Mineman. Our daughter also flew in for the ceremony so my wife had the priviledge of celebrating Mother's Day together with our children for the first time together in over almost 20 years. It was a very proud moment for us to watch him reach this milestone after 18.5 years. I never accomplished this in my short Navy career and it makes me proud to call him my son! Thanks for letting me brag and shine and we'll be in Gulf Shores, Al. until May 27 then move on to Canton, Ms. for a week and then Guntersville, Al. for the month of June. I hope that we can arrange some meet and greets like we did before. Safe travels to all you TT drivers.

I was just in Gulfport. I didn't even check the tracker. I'm still hoping to meet up with you in Florida sometime. Our account has changed somewhat so I'm not in Florida nearly as often as I used to be.

Someday, good sir. Someday. My late dad & brother were both Navy. Much respect and gratitude!

I've pushed my 5/31 trip out.. due to the 'arm' (R/cuff) not healing quickly.

I saw your post and told my wife the same thing about Lakeland and missing a meet with you. Some day I hope as it would be an honor.

We travel and usually spend a month at each rv park. Next stops are Guntersville, AL, Crossville, Tn, Emporia, VA and Bonifay, FL before returning home in October and maybe we'll meet up.

Got home at noon after washing out the trailer and dropping it in the yard. Fighting a cold so hopefully it won't get much worse. Think when I got soaked and chilled the other night, it decided to hit me 😡

Heard from just my daughter and granddaughter.

It was an okay day, all things considered.

If it's your sinuses stock up now. I was really bad off for about two weeks and just now tapering off. Mucinex spray worked well for me. Ibuprofen too.
