Lol my longest run ever beats that by 1 mile lol. Phoenix AZ, to Vineland NJ. 2,384 miles. That's cool that your company will fly you home for hometime. Mine would either want me to reschedule my hometime or give the load to someone else.

Did a couple team runs from Fontana Ca. to Miami,Fl. lol 1 was on Superbowl Sunday, luckily, we were headed outta FL. around 5:30 pm, so traffic was on the SB side!!

It's wayfair. Home furnishings I'm guessing. Never hauled them before. I usually avoid LA if I can help it. Well really all of CA for that matter. Although I just ignore the 55 limit. I keep it at our limit for the most part, except for curves and stuff.

The other interesting part is that I couldn't get this load early, so they're paying me layover pay for sitting since yesterday afternoon to tonight at 9

Yeppp 55 is a real PITA, backs everything up. I ran 60-62 in Calif. CHP really wont bother you at that speed, I was doin' 65 once down I-10 headed east, was near palm Springs area, CHP went right by me on my left without a blink....But 62 was my norm, why push your luck lol let the other idiots fly by at 70+ (big rigs) Might be seein' them a bit later, with the red n blue light show, down the road
